April has been a good writing month.
“Duck Hawk” was featured on The New Yinzer in their Invisible Cities category (alongside Sherrie Flick – an inspiration of mine). I’d submitted to them over a year ago, and so, it was nice to see my story make it to the site.
I also heard word that I’ll have a piece of flash fiction in Cobalt, a new online literary magazine out of Baltimore. That won’t be published until late 2014, so stay tuned.
Pear Noir! is transitioning into an independent small press, and they have agreed to publish my book. I’m going to be working diligently for the rest of 2013, hoping to wrap up the manuscript by the end of the year. I’m not sure yet what the length will be, but I imagine around 25 flash fiction/prose pieces.
I’m looking forward to sharing my writing news and progress in this space. Thanks for reading.
